Snow Labyrinth

Take your spiritual practice outside: make a labyrinth in the snow.

Tips:

  • Keep your steps close together to make a clear path.
  • Make the first loop fairly large, to leave room for a couple inner loops.
  • It may take a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but let it be perfectly imperfect.  It doesn’t have to be symmetrical or any particular shape.
  • Let the making of the labyrinth be a contemplative practice.

The photo above is an example of a simple labyrinth I made after a couple tries, inspired by snow artist Simon Beck.    Share your photos below!

I’m a spiritual director and retreat leader with a life coaching background. I offer spiritual companioning and retreats for people who want to go deeper – deeper into themselves, deeper into their connection with the Divine, and deeper into that place of peace, equanimity, and connection they sometimes feel in meditation, prayer, nature or the arts.
